Summer State Planning Meeting July 25 will take place during FinnFest in Naselle, after we help with the Pancake Feed in the morning. Location TBD and start time pending.
The biennial Finnish American Folk Festival in Naselle, WA, is scheduled for July 24–26, 2026, taking place at the Naselle High School. Check the official Naselle FinnFest website or the Naselle FAFF Facebook Page for schedules, lodging suggestions, and event updates.
The event celebrates the rich Finnish heritage and culture of the lower Columbia region with a mix of performers, traditional cuisine, and community activities. Highlights of the weekend include:
- Tori Market: A bustling marketplace featuring Nordic/Finnish-themed arts, crafts, and goods. It runs Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Activities & Workshops: Traditional Finnish folk dancing, musical performances, athletic events, and heritage displays.
- Community Connection: Local food booths, Finnish-American genealogy tracking, and guest speakers.
Fall State Meeting Oct 10 in Richland will be a Hybryd – In person and Zoom, hosted by Alpha Beta – Walla Walla. We will be participating that morning in the Alzheimer’s Walk. Meeting will be in the afternoon.
Spring State Meeting TBA will be by Zoom.
State Convention 2027 will be hosted by Omicron – date and place TBA.
