Summer Planning Meeting Information!
Email from Pam to members –

Please reply today so we can get a head count.  for beds needed for volunteering at the Finish American Folk Festival in Naselle on Sat. July 25 (5am start) and Board Meeting (1pm start). ESA members have a limited # of beds available. There is also space for tents or campers. Nearby Hotel rooms are full.
Plans are to volunteer in the morning, enjoy festivities and food mid morning, lunch and then hold our planning meeting at 1pm at the Lutheran Church where there is wifi so we will try to Zoom for those who cannot attend.
Just a couple things to note as I’m not sure what has been relayed…

  1.  I have offered to bring a catered luncheon to you for your board meeting from Gaetano’s Market in Deli in Astoria.  My treat!  Below is their website – my offering is a variety of their yummy sub sandwiches, mac and pasta salad, chips, and drinks.  I just need to know how many would like lunch as there will be some who will not be able / or don’t want to attend the Finnish American Folk Festival.  Maybe this would suffice as your dinner???
    1.
  2. My friend, Larry, owns The Inn at 515 15th in Astoria, and currently has 5+ rooms available on the 24-26th of July.  The Sundary Market is in full swing and it is just a few short blocks to the market.  I’ve included the website in case anyone would like to book a room.  I would book immediately if interested!

I hope you are all staying cool in the hot hot sun!
